It is time for QueenVio to get a thread Let us all cheer the nicest, funniest and most enjoyable tennis player to be around, and watch her slay everyone, especially now that she's playing ITF again :yeah:
Vio represented PNG again at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa, and won 3 Bronze Medals Almost beat a Top 600 WTA from India in the SFs, but lost in 3
No Pro intents in the near future. Will play some next year. Likes to train a lot in general, and they have very limited resources, so travelling is only to tournaments where she has a good shot at winning a lot of matches. It's why she plays ITF Juniors so infrequently. I expect her to have a bit more of a crack next year. IMO she could finish next year in Top 30 Juniors.
Vio easily into the Final of Singles and Doubles in NZL I am very surprised she only went over for one tournament though Anyway, I think she will beat Mickie again, and that would be great for her ranking Deserves to be Top 150 already for sure
Vio won the Final against Michaela 6-4 6-0 An amazing week She is clearly above this level now Unfortunately she lost the Final though in Doubles This is still really good though, and she should be proud of herself that she beat so many players so easily She's already at a Top 100 level, so I see no reason why she can't make a big press for the upper echelons of Junior rankings next year She's also on the list for a G2 in Korea in a few weeks Could go far there
Some great footage of Patricia/Violet playing Abigail/Marcia in the Final of the Pacific Games I was really surprised to find this, even if it isn't very long
Vio is playing in Canberra this week along with Patricia. I can't believe I didn't even think to check that :spit: I'll have to talk to her about this very weird scheduling though. If she was happy to play in Canberra why didn't she just play in Sydney last week  Anyway, she should win this tournament pretty easily IMO. I am just waiting for Korea.
Vio into the Quarters gifting 6 games (3 to a school friend ) and playing with Maria Vais (another really sweet girl) they upset the 4th seeds in Doubles Please win both events Vio
Vio into the Final in Canberra after a tough win over Selina Apparently Selina played very well for the first set and a half Vio also into the Doubnles Final Win both Bae
@chingching Well according to the schedule the final stated at 9am... that's not something I'm willing to do on a Sunday morning  Anyway it's just down the road so i'll go down in a bit and see if the doubles is still going
Vio won against Kaitlin 2 and 3 Not a surprise really, although Kaitlin may have been fatigued after that epic DF Although she did beat Vio in the Doubles Final It's a shame Vio couldn't sweep both, but she won the Singles which is all that matters Now win some matches in Korea
With all my busy-ness I have let Vio slip under the radar Anyway, she is playing now in the GB1 in korea and she won her R1 match 6-1 6-4 Next she will most likely play the 6th Seed Shuyue Ma, a big challenge for sure but nothing she cannot overcome She can go far in this event I think
Once again I have let my busy-ness get in the way of Vio Anyway, she will be playing Eddie Herr and Orange Bowl at the end of the year If she can bring her best tennis I definitely think she could win some matches in MD
I have been busy I only checked the results until Vio lost I only saw Mickie's amazing run a few days ago and I haven't posted it yet  So glad they are both doing well Anyway I have been afraid to post in Mickie's three after the tirade Sam gave me Who would have thought I'd be alleged of supporting Australian players too much :haha:
Vio is currently the 10th Seed in Eddie Herr Qualifying If she can master the clay surface at these events she can definitely win a lot of matches and improve her ranking Let's go girl
Papua Princess Vio-GOAT has uploaded some photos from Brandenton Looking beautiful as always, hopefully she slays her opposition and can perform well at these 5th and 6th Slams
