It's back again after the pilot season and it is bigger and better. Queensland were the first to kick of their conference and here are some results.

Jemimah Waugh d Christy Scott 4-1 4-1
Ivana Morinov lt Lucy Easton 2-6 1-4

Shaw Park Sharks def. Toowoomba Tigers 5-1
Rachel Treodoux d Isabella Holland 4-2 4-3
Lyann Hoang d Monika Wejnert 4-1 4-1
Ashling Sumner d Renee Binnie 4-1 4-1
Andjela Djokovic lt Hannah Receveur 4-3 3-4 3-4
Tredoux/Hoang d Holland/Wejnert 4-0 4-0

Interesting to see names like Wejnert, Letcher and Golds here. Shaw Park looks to be the team to beat. The Brisbane teams will struggle.

Yep and the winners of each conference (WA, SA, VIC, NSW/ACT, QLD) will play off in the second week of AO for the championship.

There are a couple of internationals playing that I know of, Emily Webley-Smith, Shona Lee and Jennifer Elie are playing...probably a few more.

They're hoping in the future to get Asia involved, not sure if that is happening this year. When they do it'll be three Asian teams as well as the 5 conference winners to play off for the title.

Players in the NSW/ACT conference include Adamczak, Bengson, Moriarty, Musgrave, Bai, Keir, Calderwood, Hoynaski, Ellwood, Cassandra Chan, Myers, Mladin, Wagland, Gonzalez and Bree Calderwood.

WA includes Catovic, Lee, Casey, Gianotti and Moore

Sa includes Bobusic, Webley-Smith, Wlodarczak, Rischbieth, Lukaszewicz, Dunser, Elie, Collie and Cannizzarro

I don't think it matters, most players just opt to play from their home state and be close to home.

VIC has Harris, Peers, Woolcock, Filippou, Mirkovic, Hives, Long, Baric, Perez, Wallace, Balint, Johansson (Michaela), Polak and Szili
