Re: Aussie ITF circuit 2012/2013

Michelle Pits is a 14yo who qualified and won her R1 I can't believe we've now had *five* 14yos winning matches and getting WTA points in the past 3 weeks. And Sara Tomic hasn't made her debut yet. What promising signs!

This was in the 2011/2012 ITF circuit thread, but I didn't want to bump it again.

Wan-Yi Sweeting is now representing HKG
was she that promising?

She lost first round, didn't she?

Meanwhile, Jess Moore lost 6-1 4-6 7-5 to Nives Baric

Re: Aussie ITF circuit 2012/2013

^TA and ITF had Pits as the winner for a while. Has it been changed around now?

WCs for Port Pirie:

Rachel Tredoux
Ashley Keir
Brooke Rischbieth
Lizette Cabrera

Some interesting round 1s in Port Pirie. Im looking at Sanders vs Hadzic especially...two of our best '94 girls after Rajicic.

I thought the same! That's a really interesting match up for me. You would probably have to favour Azra given her recent form. I'd like Storm to take it though. Also interested in Peers VS Stevenson

I imagine Alex will take that unless Sally hangs around long enough for Stevenson to retire.

I'd go with Azra too just on recent form, but Storm is a much ball striker when she is on.

Re: Aussie ITF circuit 2012/2013

Azra has been sneaking up the rankings fairly quietly, i would've thought she'd still be around 600-700 but this week she's sitting at 484! i'm looking forward to seeing the result of Azra and Storm's match too

anyone else notice Julia Cohen is down priority 1 for Esperance in a few weeks?

Re: Aussie ITF circuit 2012/2013

Having seen both of them play, I think Storm is the better player but I don't think she's as match tough as Azra and I'll be surprised if she gets up.

Jess Moore lost in 3 sets to Tredoux. It's all gone downhill for her after winning that Belgian $10K

Peers also lost in 3 sets to Sexy Lexy.

Rajicic got done in two
