Meanwhile, fingers crossed Azarenka loses... if Sam wins tonight, i'd much prefer her to play Cibulkova rather than Vika.
i wanna know what they said too! Domi won't pull it off she's such a mental wreck, would be so great for Sam though.

Re: French Open 2012

Firstly he said, The problem is he (djokovic's father) is so fucking aware of the power that he has over Novak. Then he said, he (again djokovic's father) should just stay the fuck away from Novak altogether. Was quite funny...I can't believe their producers haven't told them anything yet, Woodforde is really bad at chatting away off mic.

Re: French Open 2012

Cibulkova won! Azarenka made it three rounds further than she should've, but it's a great result for Sam

F bombs and all! Nice. I can't stand Woodforde hopefully they sack him. Hooray Domi pulled off the upset! If Sam beats Sloane she'd be the favourite over shorties Domi & Sara to make the final.... Kerber could be a problem.

On now thank god! The sun's out so the rain shouldn't affect Sam's games as much as I was worried it would. CARN SAM!!!

Ew, yuck.

OK, SF is still awesome...but golden opportunity lost. Hats off to Errani though. Cannot stand her, but respect and credit where it's due

Re: French Open 2012

I'm sure I have a stomach ulcer after that Sam played so well in the 2nd set then fought back so hard to get it back to 3-3 in the third.... and folded like a cheap tent was literally appalling. SF is nothing to sneeze at I agree but that will always be see as a lost opportunity. Errani played a very smart match & stuck with her whenever she could and eventually her persistence handed her the match.

Re: French Open 2012

I felt quite sick in the stomach too. But I knew as soon as Sam won that second set, Errani would take an early lead as she was serving first. Errani fought tooth and nail to hold serve at 0-5 to ensure she was serving first in decider I reckon She was just conserving energy in that second set, ready for a battle in the third and I knew she'd come out refreshed.

This loss will sting for a while. For Sam, and us

I still can't quite get my head around the fact that Errani is in a SLAM final. Oh well, hats off to her, she didn't fold and had nothing to lose. To think that Casey could have taken her out in the first round!

I'm in denial that last night's loss ever happened.

http://www.tennis.com.au/video/2012/...e-aces-title-2

at least someone from Australia won something at Roland Garros this year, even if it was just the Future Aces title! i'm not sure what level it is in terms of junior tournaments, but still well done to Destanee Aiava for winning it
