Awesome week so far, let's hope she can take the singles as well!!
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the last Aussie girl to win a G1 was Evie Dominikovic when she beat Jelena Dokic 7-6 6-0 in the final of the Canadian Open Juniors in 1998 - yes in the last millennium!!
Already with her results this week, Barty's junior ranking will rise from 112 to around 61. A win would see her jump to around No.50.
Keep in mind Dokic ended 1998 ranked No.341 for women and No.1 for juniors. I'm very interested to see how Barty stacks up.
