Re: Aussies in WTA events

Monique currently trying to qualify for her first WTA main draw since 2010! She won the first set 7-5 against Luangnam and had a break at 2-1 but now serving at 2-3.

Go Mon!

Re: Aussies in WTA events

Mon now at one set all. Meanwhile, Casey has started well, going up 2-1 with a break against Pliskova. They're on stream too: http://lsh.streamhunter.eu/static/po...955335490.html

Re: Aussies in WTA events

This Pliskova chick has a great serve. It doesn't look like she puts any effort into it, but it just trampolines off her racquet.

She's just a serve bot though. No ground game.

Very effortless looking. Once Casey can get in to a rally she wins the point basically but it's getting in one that's the problem.

Mon now down 1-5. She's only won 2 games since leading 7-5 2-1

Re: Aussies in WTA events

Please Ash or Liv avoid Luksika.

IMO, Ash would be able to beat all except Luksika
And I think Liv would struggle against almost all except Simmonds or Kichenok

Re: Aussies in WTA events

I wonder if Casey has thought about ditching singles and just focusing on doubles.
