The list is up!

Birrell is the highest Aussie in. At the moment it is Birrell, Hon, Bai, Patterson, Rogowska, Tjandramulia, Fourlis, Bains, Cabrera, Tomic, Aiava and Inglis safely into QD. About half of them should end up being in MD I reckon. The usual suspects are in the ALTs lists, no one special. For some reason Jeanette isn't in with her national ranking so she's near the bottom of the whole list :[

Haet, Jovanovic and Wolfe amongst the withdrawal lists.

No Sanders, Moore or Barty  Hives also missing

Wonder if Storm, Jess and Ash could be playing WTA events? Tokyo looks likely for the week before and during this week there is Tokyo, Seoul and Guangzhou so if all wanted to they would be able to get into a QD somewhere.

Except Queen Viki Rajicic.... who I think only played Bendigo last year (maybe ACT). Fingers crossed she'll play the full 6 weeks.

Be interesting to see how many withdrawals there are. If you only count the priority 1's (though not always the indicator) then Katy Dunne will be the top seed with Kim #2 and Alison #4.

The greatest shock is Liv Rogowska ditching the States and showing up for these. Two years ago we would've been expecting a Evie Dominikovic type run here, but she'll find it difficult now.

Great to see Tammi back from her wrist surgery. Got a huge load of points to defend over these weeks.

And Lizette after her solid season should be well placed to get a few wins here.

Praying that Storm, Ash and Jess are playing WTA's that week; probably likely with Jess with her improved doubles rank. Storm IIRC, has 15K final points to defend for Tweed Heads.

Wonder if the 25K and 50K AO wildcards are on offer this time around.

Though Jarka withdrew for Tweed Heads, hoping to see her and Casey get a few of these tournies in.

Viki Rajicic is nothing special anymore though.

You're forgetting Pri too who would be #3 with the P1's :p But if there are some massive ranking changes the seeding doesn't follow this list too.

Liv has also entered 75k Albuquerque so it's not certain she will play here.

I do hope Jarka and Casey play some of these, but I don't see it happening. Jarka is most likely going to stick to the States and I doubt Casey has played much tennis at all lately.

Hi all!
Surprised no one mentioned the 2 Victorian amts just completed with Aviava smashing both of them not losing a set and barely playing over an hour in any matches. Not the strongest amts but expect her to actually really go hugely well in the itfs.
She beat Viki in both finals which is an improvement from her as she smashed Masa in the early rounds. Won both dubs with Aviava also. Viki is looking fit and actually training full time again with Aviava!! So hope that motivates her. My other tip is she will make a resurgence in the ITFs. A lot of you wont believe me, but i hope someone will quote this post when she does well!!

Will be interesting if Tammi can find good form after injury. Huge potential if can get together.

I think it was clear from my post that I was joking about Viki. Yes... I'm well aware she's not that 'special' anymore... particularly considering her ITF play has been so sparse. Thus the reason for my post. (Though will be very happy if Tess' prediction is plays out true).

What's your source for Jarka and Casey.... your post sounds like more like just 'opinion'..... i.e 'most likely' and 'I doubt'.

Or she is too tired and can't be arsed posting anything on Instacrap or Twitturd beyond a few random family snaps, particularly if she's training on the court and then coming home to chase around two rug rats under 4 or 5.

Well see what her plans are, and retirement could be a possibility, but it's a worry that after that fall last October, eight months later she was still feeling the effects of it. Retirement or not, I hope that she's able to fully recover.

I cling to the hope that she left playing awesome doubles and that she may comeback for another season or two to chase the elusive women's grand slam title (hopefully teaming with her buddy Ash). It's interesting to note that she peaked at no. 3 in February on the doubles ranks, even after having to withdraw from Singapore and from the AO 2013 to the US 2015, she participated in 5 out of 12 double slam finals!

Plenty of movement with the list now, 5 in the main draw. Liv R has withdrawn from the 75k Albuquerque so hopefully that means she'll be playing.

Jen Elie withdrew from the 75k Albuquerque as well, so maybe that means she's making her regular trip down to Oz as one of the top seeds, joining the other regular Aussie visitor, Zuzana Z!

I can't recall it ever being this bad Scott

Casey, Jarka, Alja, Kim, Pri, Tammi, Monique, Jamie, Zoe..... I'm sure there are others that I can't recall w/o checking properly. I know Liv T had some shoulder issues, reducing her US tournaments too. Back luck or is it an indication of our girls not training hard enough.

Hope I don't jinx Storm, but pleasing that she hasn't suffered injuries this year.

Cut off for Main Draw is 602  Plenty of girls in the main draw now... great opportunity to grab some points!

Pivovarova is top seed.
Pri, Ali, Liv R & Liv T are seeded.

Naiktha, Lizette, Sara, Destanee & Maddi have also made the main draw :yeah:

Abbie is #5 on Qualy list, but you think she would be a shoe in for WC.

Wow that list is now looking like the $10k lists of old. There's going to be a lot of easy points of offer if someone is fit and healthy this Spring swing.

Jarka posts many snap chats every day. None lately have been tennis training, although she has been doing lots of fitness and yoga. She did one yesterday waiting for an MRI, so I think we can all read between the lines.

Brisbane list is out, could be a bit stronger but can't really tell until after the withdrawal deadline.

Storm has entered here as there is only Wuhan/Tashkent that week and she probably doesn't want to go to Uzbekistan.

Some players who withdrew from Tweeds are still on the list for now: Birrell, Patterson, Fourlis.

Mendez has also entered here which is quite surprising.

Other than that, it's pretty much identical to the Tweeds list.

^ She should make it if there are no special entry spots used. I loved Abbie's ballistic hitting during the playoff last year, I wish she could string it together at an ITF (like Tammi did last year).

That withdrawal brings Stefanie Tan into the main draw. Nice to see some Singapore girls (Sarah Pang too) on the list. As well as Tere-Apisah from PNG.

Brisbane is actually looking stronger now with a few of the Asian-swing journeywomen still in the draw. The Livs are just outside the main draw and Kim/Tammi/Jamie still there (for now).

#35 ·
Few more withdrawals now...the Liv's are in! Storm has withdrawn unfortunately. I think Scott said she's injured??

Will be a great looking draw if Kim, Tammi, Seone, Jamie remain... they've made it past the withdrawal deadline so far so I'm being optimistic. The draw gods will give us some interesting Aussie vs Aussie battles no doubt.
