Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Just noticed that Tammi went down in a VERY tight 3 setter to Voracova, in $25K Italy. Tough loss, but great effort on clay against an established veteran.

Nice to see Alison qualify in Indonesia. Stick her in a qualy draw and she always makes it through! Racking up the wins and becoming very consistent too.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Saw that great effort from Tammi there's hope for her yet, i'm predicting some nice runs at the 25k's at the end of the year.

Nice one Maddison.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Alison won her 1st round in Indonesia, easily beating a fellow Q player from Hong Kong. Another 9 points

About time she started getting some good results again. She's never going to be anything special, but can't see why she can't at least go top 300. Not enough bite in her game to go higher, but at least she is winning

Do you or other posters know much about Inglis?
How she plays? Potential?
Seems to be going ok in the 10K's for a girl who turned 15 in January...

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Inglis is having a good week. One of the girls she beat won a round at a 25k recently and took a set off Asia Muhommed in the 2nd round (who went on to win the tournament if memory serves?) She also took #2 junior Siniakova to 3 sets back in January so must have a bit of potential there. How she goes against Sally will be a good barometer

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Maddi is a WA Girl, trains very hard, typical right hander, double handed backhand and plays mostly from the baseline....has a lot of talent and is starting to really show her potential.....I wouldn't be shocked to see her Push Sally here..

Good luck to the West Aussies in 2013!:
Casey Dellacqua Jessica Moore Bojana Bobusic Storm Sanders
as well as Jelena Dokic Sam Stosur Sally Peers Ash Barty Olivia Rogowska Monique Adamczak Sacha Jones Rodionova Sisters Tammi Patterson Vicky Rajicic Azra Hadzic Alison Bai

And all the other aussie girls

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Anyone has a good chance against Sally to be honest. Priscilla is better then Maddison, I'd rate her as our 4th best 98' girl.
