Good question. Olivia needs someone that's gonna give her a bit of a kick up the bum. I know Chris was getting very frustrated that she wouldn't try anything he asked her.

Good win from Monique there. Very happy to see someone at least winning.

Not surprised by this. She has a pretty one dimensional game atm and very reluctant to attack and take balls out of the air. Chris was an attacking player in his time and would no doubt like Liv to develop some kind of a net game.

There's more to life than just being happy.

Yeah she has really good grounded but they aren't good enough to consistently overpower people from the baseline. So she either needs to learn to take some out of the air or become a more defensive Kerber type player. I feel like she's just lost atm.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Yay for Mon
Her and Alison Bai are at least fighting for wins!
Casey/Jarka/Liv/Nastya... Going to be a struggle for any to get top 100 this year...
Anyone know if Sophie Ferguson may one day pick up a racquet again?
We may need her to return to give us hope considering how shit our girls are playing...
And bring Jelena back too

If Jelena and Sophie started playing again I would die.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Alicia Molik must be up there in the reckoning for a Fed Cup spot if either Sam or Ash become injured. It really is going from bad to worse with our girls.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Terrible results from our girls, Casey needs to get her head in the game and fully commit. Olivia much the same.

Monique please get a few more wins....

I remember the days our aussie girls used to flock to these Japense syn grass events and absolutely kick arse...Casey included......these events would be perfect for Rajicic, if she could find her timing she could do some damage on these faster courts...Patterson also...

Storm also disappointing to lose the second set from 4-1 up!!

Good luck to the West Aussies in 2013!:
Casey Dellacqua Jessica Moore Bojana Bobusic Storm Sanders
as well as Jelena Dokic Sam Stosur Sally Peers Ash Barty Olivia Rogowska Monique Adamczak Sacha Jones Rodionova Sisters Tammi Patterson Vicky Rajicic Azra Hadzic Alison Bai
|
And all the other aussie girls
