Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Good win for Sally, her confidence is coming back! Jill though is another level and is extremely consistent. Sally will have to really go for her returns and get Jill on the back foot, otherwise Jill will have her for breakfast!

Yes old as the hills, but as fit as anything. Would rival Sam in the muscle stakes.

2012 Sally may struggle, but lets hope the 2013 is different and she makes a good match of it.

Old as the hills? She's only 5 years older than me

Jill won 46 64 61. A win would have been great but things are looking up

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

great effort from Sally considering how disappointing her recent results have been... a few more tournaments with a few more wins would do her good

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Great effort from Sally, I suspect Jill beat her on fitness, and looking at the score, the match probably went for 3.5 hours as Jill just rallies and rallies! Hope she can put in a good showing in the doubles now

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Jarka tweeted saying it was really difficult playing conditions (weather wise) so maybe thats why it was tighter then expected.
