Who the hell is Yasmine Ince? Never seen that name before... Hopefully those 4 scrubs all get in the same section of the Q-Draw so that at least one of them can qualify
And Madeleine Watson

I hate the word scrubs..... maybe we can come up with something nicer and even rename this thread in honour of the 10K's gals who i think are having an awesome time playing tennis one day and then hanging around with Aussie tourists in European pubs the next!

There's more to life than just being happy.

Neither and I'm usually pretty good at recognising the randoms.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Ince doesn't even have a profile page on the ITF website... Watson does though!! her results don't look too flash , 0-4 in singles and a bagel from Moriarty. good luck to them anyway

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Mon used to play a really good schedule which was how she got to 126. I think her South American swing would probably be an effort to at least reach USO qualies. Smart move.

Would prefer to not see anyone called a scrub as it is somewhat demeaning. Whether or not they are winning, they are out there trying. Even if their results are often less than pleasing, who are we to judge them. Let's celebrate their achievements in the tennis world, which are greater than ours. Life is hard enough without us calling each other names.

Yep. Pretty much the crappest week ever. Glad Sally got a win though!

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Poor Boj. She was basically a lock for US Open qualies but because of her injury she's lost out. Now with all the points to defend later this year she's going to have to start from scratch again next year. Must be very frustrating for her.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Alison lost in a 3 setter to the girl who won the title last week Great effort though, and for once shes not losing all the time. But now she keeps losing tight 3 setters to good players

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Steph has a great partner in Pous-Tio but has tough R1 opponents.
Who is this Nicole Collie? I don't think she has one a set yet :/

Izzy-Sally-Boja look to have easy R1s, well hopefully..

This Marine Partaud took out both our Alexs in Qualies She also faces Jess Moore in doubles, she must be like an Aussie magnet.
Jess Moore has Kayser in R1, who isn't in great shape but her results are VERY random.

The girls in Turkey

Unlucky for Guimaraes Bueno to draw the 1st seed twice in singles and doubles and is Adamczak Alves is a great doubles player, hopefully they can atleast reach the final.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

On paper the girls in the states have good draws. Sally if she wins will play another qualifier if she wins.

Hopfully Mon can take out the 25k in brazil.
