Looks like Abbie is going to be a handy little doubles player.

On her facebook today she was complaining of how cold it was in Brighton where she was warming up.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Sally Peers just *squeeezed* by an unranked Brit in Q1 in Nottingham She was at 4-6 4-4 *0-30 but got it together to win 4-6 6-4 6-3. Her Q2 match will be on shortly. She better do better in that one!

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

A much better 2nd match by Sally winning 6-2 6-1. Plays Cagla Buyakakcay to qualify. Should have a chance.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

The doubles draw in Marseille is so weak

Steph and Monique have a chance to win it!

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

I wonder if Sally just played that match at like 30% or something to conserve energy for the 2nd match? Good luck against Cagla

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

I hope she did, Buyukakacay was only on court for a 61 61 win and a default.

Re: Aussie in Overseas Challengers

Sally lost to Cagla 3-6 3-6. Not woeful. About right for someone ranked outside the top 300 vs. someone just inside the top 200
