I voted for CHanda I really want her to win and I think she can pull it out. She played very well against Amelie, and I expect she'll need to keep it up and improve to compete with Justine.

i say chanda probably 6-3 or 6-4 in the third. I say this b/c of 2 reason. Chanda clearly has what it takes to take care of Henin. Also I want her in the semis, this would really boost her confidence and her ranking. She deserves to be intop the top 10 at all times, and not number 10, she should be around number 7 or 8 the way she has been playing.

hopefully jutine beats chanda easily... to show her what it's really like inside the top 10... i do not like some of the things chanda has said this year, so i feel that justice would be served with a loss to a belgian.

btw, the interview i am talking about is where she said, "Monica is just one of those players that I should be beating easily, I should not be beating myself. there are several players in the top 10 that i should never lose to. I have the game to it."

puh leeze! i saw the tokyo match and highlights of the match in hong kong. monica beat chada easily in Hong Kong and beat her while injured in tokyo... someone needs to put chanda in check...

i think chanda was talking about if she were to bring her "A" game, but what gets me the most is, this is basically what serena said, and she climed to the top, now why do we have more and more people saying this, like its going to get them there, safe to say for chanda, saying that has gotten her alteast into the top 10, and ranked higher than monica (even though she hasn't beat her this yaer)

I know this may shock you, but sometimes, players try to psyche their opponents out by saying stuff in interviews. Granted, that wasn't the nicest thing to say, but she's not about to go out there and tell people, "Here's who can beat me and why."

She's actually one of the nicest players on tour from my experiences.

Lindsay Davenport - Anna Smashnova - Lisa Raymond - Sandrine Testud - Paola Suarez - Amelie Mauresmo - Virginia Ruano-Pascual - Nadia Petrova - Chanda Rubin - Cara Black - Tathiana Garbin - Anne Kremer - Monica Seles - Fabiola Zuluaga - Maria Sanchez-Lorenzo - Amanda Coetzer - Rita Grande - Meghann Shaughnessy - Magui Serna - Nathalie Dechy - Kim Clijsters - Elena Tatarkova - Maria Sharapova - Alicia Molik - Julia Vakulenko - Elena Likhovtseva - Anastasia Myskina - Emilie Loit

o yes, she is definitely nice! and great for the game too. all she has done for junior players... geez.

but once someone says something against monica, i have a wall up against them for a few months. maybe she was just trying to psyche out the field.

btw, monica is ranked 2 spots below chanda and has played 7 less tournaments as of now... monica has beaten her twice this year alone, she is obviously better, but monica has had trouble with her foot... so. chanda deserves her ranking, though. dont get me wrong. her comeback is a medical marvel and pretty inspiring.

...still going for justine though... lol
