Seren'a Head to Head

well looks like this tournie is serena's to loose just like the Open Gaz De France

Serena Vs.

Alexandra STEVENSON (USA) 1-0
Lisa RAYMOND (USA) 2-0
Mirjana LUCIC (CRO) 2-0
Nathalie DECHY (FRA) 4-0

Lindsay DAVENPORT (USA) 8-2
Ai SUGIYAMA (JPN) 2-0
Yoon-Jeong CHO (KOR) Neva Met
Vera ZVONAREVA (RUS) 1-0
[6] Eleni DANIILIDOU (GRE) 2-0

[7] Elena BOVINA (RUS) Neva Met
Francesca SCHIAVONE (ITA) 1-0
Silvia FARINA ELIA (ITA) 1-0
Janette HUSAROVA (SVK) 3-0
Meghann SHAUGHNESSY (USA) 1-0
Daja BEDANOVA (CZE) 3-0
[4] Jelena DOKIC (SMO) 3-0

[5] Chanda RUBIN (USA) 1-1
Jill CRAYBAS (USA) Neva Met
Barbara SCHETT (AUT) 2-0
Laura GRANVILLE (USA) Neva Met
Cara BLACK (ZIM) 1-0
Tatiana PANOVA (RUS) 1-0
[2] Kim CLIJSTERS (BEL) 6-1

Total: 45- 4

Has Only lost to Lindsay, Chanda, and Kim!

Looks like the numbers are in her favor again. Chanda rubin is the only player in this tournie to have beaten her the last time they met I think serena will run away w/ this 1 just like Open Gaz De France.

This will not be a Serena run away...

Do you see that top player she's never played yet? She's a big, bad, mamma jamma... don't take her lightly. She beat her sis last time they played... now Serena will feel what it's like when she faces the real Princess of Power!

venus was toying with the gurl, let a real match happen, don't give me that, venus will put her down, venus and serena can be very generous on the courts when it comes to an exhibition, not taking anything away from Bovina, but im going to put it to you like the Kim Clijsters fans do her against Serena, just like they pretend "the hopman cup match never happend" im doing the same thing here, but i know it happend, bovina is very talented, but I saw her play davenport, she really doesn't have to me what it takes to beat venus or serena.

I don't see anyone that can challenge Serena.

Heh... I don't put any credence into her win over Venus at Collins Cup... but I had to make some argument.

I do think Lena is going to break out soon though, and Serena should not take her easily. When Lena is on one of her good streaks, she can hang with Serena.

I think if Lena is playing well... she will beat Kim on hardcourts. They haven't played since IW '01, and we shall never talk about that match again... but if Lena is playing well, her weapons are better than Kim's.

The girl is gonna break out soon... that's all I know.

im sure that if serena and bovina play here, then bovina won't win. granted she's good, but she couldn't even beat a downtrodden lindsay at the us open - what an ugly match that lindsay STILL managed to win ( ). and then lindsay got flattened by serena. so, looks like your logic has a flaw.

the only way elena can get by serena is by w/o - and then again, if she gets to the final that ill be almost as shocked as when patty beat serena.

Lindsay Davenport - Anna Smashnova - Lisa Raymond - Sandrine Testud - Paola Suarez - Amelie Mauresmo - Virginia Ruano-Pascual - Nadia Petrova - Chanda Rubin - Cara Black - Tathiana Garbin - Anne Kremer - Monica Seles - Fabiola Zuluaga - Maria Sanchez-Lorenzo - Amanda Coetzer - Rita Grande - Meghann Shaughnessy - Magui Serna - Nathalie Dechy - Kim Clijsters - Elena Tatarkova - Maria Sharapova - Alicia Molik - Julia Vakulenko - Elena Likhovtseva - Anastasia Myskina - Emilie Loit

You can't just rate Lena on that Davenport match though... when Lena plays like shit, she really plays like shit... she's an extremely streaky player.

I'll just say that if Lena is on her game, and plays aggressively against Serena... she has a chance.

No more Lena bashing please...

Serena has an amazing record in these H2Hs! It must psych the other players out a bit. Shows that she's actually been dominating for a while. It's just that she's ULTRA dominant now!
