Arrow Myskina VS Tanasugarn : Who will win

VS

Head To Head = First Meeting

Both players just won the title. Tammy wins her first title in Indian Open 2003 and Myskina took last week's Doha. Today they both dominated to win the first round over two rising stars Safina and Angie. Myskina has improved her game a lot and will be ready getting into top 10 soon. Tammy was also playing great tennis from the beginning of this year. I think both girls will battle hard with their high quality tennis.

Best of luck to both girls, please give us a good match.

Nastya is in great shape and playing with a lot of confidence. I think she'll win in 2 sets.

Oops. Really must get more sleep (thank goodness this match will be at a more decent hour). Just deleted the repetitive thread (and my post along with it). I was saying that I don't know what Myskina's strengths are, but some have mentioned her serve as a weakness (which at times is also 's).

I know is probably tired from her battle with Angie last night, but hopefully the adrenalin from a come-from-behind victory will carry her in this challenge.

I see Anastasia winning this one. She's playing so well right now and is the quicker of the two. Plus, if Tammy's tired and Anastasia's fresh that gives her another edge.

Good luck to both girls!

I would make a safe bet on Anastacia shes clearly in good form with the QTR final at aussie open and coming off a big title win. They both have great groundies and average serving so there'll be many breaks, but i think Ana's superior speed and consistency will give her the edge.

Good luck to the Aussie and Balkan girls!

I would have to go with Myskina as the favorite, but bear in mind, I think Nastya's groundstrokes will play into Tammy's hands. Tammy hits a hard, flat ball, so does Nastya. It just depends on who executes better, although I guess nastya's quicker as well. It will probably be the world #10.
