Re: Swedish Juniors Thread

The Swedish Tennis Federation will start a new kind of Elite Tennis Academy at the autumn of 2011. Six Swedish juniors - three male and three female - have been chosen for this. The three girls are Rebecca Peterson, Brenda Njuki, and Caroline Kallberg. It will be some sort of high school (distance studying), but it will allow them to play lots of tournaments, and still train and study (source)

The Elite Academy will be one of the major changes implemented by the Tennis Federation this year. We offer a solid world class education, training, and international matches to our most promising players under the guidance of highly skilled trainers. "I am convinced that in future we will reach our goals in the sport" said the Swedish Tennis Federation's sports manager Johan Sjögren.
