Re: Nina Zander

Since it probably will be the last pictures of her for quite some time (and since it probably pleases the male audience )...Jimmie's twitter pictures of Nina at the German championships:

Re: Nina Zander

Premature posting..there'll be more

But yeah, It's not like I don't get to see pretty players often, I'm used to the Sharapovas of the world after all. Still, Nina is remarkable, one of the prettiest girls I know..shame her tennis isn't really up there. It's funny though, you could see all the male players oogle her.. she really does stand out.

With that being said, she still seems to have a lot of fun playing so it does not seem like her retirement from playing on tour was due to her losing her passion for the sport.

Let's hope she'll continue..for everyone's sake

Re: Nina Zander

With her even I acknowledge that she's damn pretty.

Funnily enough, I actually thought that she wasn't that bad a player, at least not the few times I saw her, probably not Top 100 material but I could've seen her play GS qualies at least. That said, at some point you're gonna have to put food on the table, and that's difficult outside the Top 100.

Re: Nina Zander

She has a pretty solid game but she's also rather unstable from a mental point of view. Saw her lose more than a few matches she shouldn't have lost because she unraveled.

Then again, she isn't as crazy gifted that you could think "once she gets more stable, she'll beat people left and right", she would probably only be a 100-150ish kind of player if she would live up to her potential. Add the injuries she had to put up with so far and it's not hard to see why she does not see much of a future as a pro player.
