That's so sad.
People can be cruel, I know everything about it.
I really hope she will ignore these stupid bitches, 'cause they aren't worth it. If they couldn't understand something like that, they are far away of grown up and be a nice and friendly person.
I hope Sarah will keep on playing and will defeat those pathetic bitches It must be very hard for her.

Re: Sad story: German Sarah Gronert considers retiring because............

I really don't get why people have so much problems with people who are different then they are.
Of course in this case it also seems to be because she was doing well. I can imagine that happens a lot in tennis (and other sports) especially when they are ranked at a place where they don't earn enough to make a decent living or even be able to play the next tournament. It's about survival there and that sometimes brings out the bad in some people.

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

It's just so typical that someone who is a little bit different gets insulted by small minded people who can't applaud her success.

Chin up Sarah. Unfortunately you'll always have detractors, no matter your profession. People will just be more up front about it if your job is so competitive in nature.

I took a look at her results, and she has beaten Melanie Klaffner.
Hope she keeps on playing.

Kim Clijsters;
... 2010, here she comes!

Caroline Wozniacki | Laura Robson
-> Dementieva & Ivanovic <-

Some experts believe she would be able to break top 100 but she had a very difficult childhood and the bashings increased proportional to her sucess in the last months. Now she considers retiring and still doesn't know if she wants to keep playing tennis.

People shouldn't make fun of her. It's not her fault to be born like this.

I hope she keeps on playing!

I hope she sticks around.

How come it's known that she was born a hermaphrodite anyway ?

Some people will say anything to gain an advantage and those players who made her feel bad should be ashamed of themselves.

I hope she keeps on. The last thing you want to do is let other people affect your own goals in life. I hope she becomes stronger for this and keeps going in tennis.
