This week Laura reached the Semifinal in Jounieh (LEB) $25.000 with some impressive wins, so I think she needs a thread :p.

tough to say what happened, *52 up, BP again at 55*, Hradecka obviously can hit the ball harder than Laura, has a good first serve too and that made the difference today also, I agree that Hradecka´s movement is not good and that you can make her look pretty bad but you have to get into the rallies first, it is no secret that Laura´s serve is no big weapon and on faster surfaces it is always tough for Laura to get into the rallies etc., especially on that level, however, I guess she should have won it today, at least better than Auckland and not a bad result in general, maybe gets lucky for a change at a slam now!!

First congrats to Laura on her first-ever AO main draw :yeah:

She gained it by having her best-ever year on tour in 2015, ending it in the Top 100 for the first time at #90, up from #161 the year prior.

Tough match against Kiki, but gluck to her anyway!

After a bad start into 2016 she manages to get her first MD GS win ever, that´s great :worship:
High 1st serve percentage, only 1 DF, while Bertens struggeled with her serve a lot, that made the difference today also.

No pressure against JJ now, try your best, there could be some longer interesting rallies in that match :D
