This week Laura reached the Semifinal in Jounieh (LEB) $25.000 with some impressive wins, so I think she needs a thread :p.

Mentally and strategically she is a Top20 player, combine that with an outside the TOP100 technique and she will be a constant TOP100 player if she stays healthy. I saw all her qualifying matches at the USO last year and while she was unlucky to face a peaking Pervak - she really impressed me that tournament. Grass is a surface where you can achieve a lot of things when you understand the way the surface plays and how you can adapt your game in order to be successful on it. I am pretty sure Laura realized that coming forward is the winner here. Almost every volley she hit at the USO last year, she hit right where it's supposed to be hit. Since grass gives you more opportunities to come in I think this is the key behind her success. I don't know how the draw will be but there are at least 30 players in the draw that she can take out easily playing like that (The ones that stay on the baseline and are non-power hitters).

Good luck!

The highlight of her career, with 27 years ! It shows that you should never give up, and not too early
