Re: Fed Cup
Part of me wants Romania to win this tie because it's Simona's Fed Cup debut but of course I will be rooting for Patty. I'm glad Alexandra was able to hang in there and she must have played very well in the third set. After the close fight against Wickmayer and now beating a Top50 player (not sure if she was playing like one, but still), I think it's safe to say that she is slowly finding her footing on hardcourts.
Singles: W - Kuala Lumpur, Mallorca SF - Eastbourne, Biel, Quebec City QF - Rome || Doubles (w/ Randy): F - Kuala Lumpur SF - Cincinnati, Toronto, Eastbourne, Stuttgart QF - Miami
FITD (CHR #1): W - Monterrey, Nottingham, Prague, Seoul, Strasbourg
Suicide: W - Tokyo (Int.)
And to think that Génie is 0-4 against this Kvitova player. Sometimes tennis is just not logical at all.
