Don't put me on the spot like that! But since you do, I have a strong sense of loyalty towards my faves, and since I've been a Maria fan for longer than a Simona fan I will probably lean towards her. But I would have very mixed feelings about it. I would want both to win and neither one to lose. But you can't have that since there are no draws in tennis. The conflict of interests is always a problem when two of your faves play each other. On the other hand, at least you end up with a winner you like, no matter who it is. So yeah, when it would all be over I would be overjoyed for the winner and heartbroken for the loser.

Fair enough Chrissie-fan. And diplomatic enough to retain your seat on the Halep Express.

Dan, it was just a hypothetical question.

Well, to put it another way: If that would be the final there is no way I can lose, but there is no way that I can win either. Besides, I guess I will only really find out once the ball is in play. It may also depend on how the match goes. I may go back and forth. In fact it's likely that I will. But those are worries for later. We could just as easily end up with a Bouchard - Kuznetsova final.

So, you think Errani is out of the question?
You know that on clay she is pretty mind boggling
But on the other side, I think too that who wins beetween Simona and Svetlana will go in the final from this side, but stranger things happened before so ...!

I'm a little nervous right now

A few people can win somebody's heart in a lifetime. But, she has already occupied a spot in mine

So cute off-court , so deadly on-court ! Simona Halep

Lol, what's that poll result on Simona-Sveta? 129-129... Equal fan bases or Simona has an equal fan/haters number?

Re: Simona Halep Cheering thread - volume 2

Not everybody who voted for Sveta is a hater or a fan of Sveta. They just have an opinion. I voted many times in polls just making a prediction about who will win just to see if i`m good at this

Simona Halep

I didn`t want to be her fan, I just ... couldn't resist

Always remember you are unique. Just like everyone else

Re: Simona Halep Cheering thread - volume 2

I don't think it's about hating. There are some pressed haters, especially some coming from the Ivanovic fanbase, but many people consider Kuznetsova superior on clay. I think she is the favorite too, but if Simona plays like in the first 3 rounds she'll win The problem is that many users only watched her against Stephens and her performance wasn't the best and now they base their judgment on that match but don't know how Simona played before. It's strange though, Simona is choking the poll, she was leading. If you don't vote for Simona that doesn't mean you are a hate anyway. She doesn't need to win all polls, she needs to win matches.

Exactly!Sveta is very good on clay and she had 2 very good performances with Petra and Lucie!
Also, from my part, Simona can lose all polls, but all of them

I hope it won't rain

No, not at all. Muguruza beating Serena - that I thought was out of the question, and see what happened there.

Like all the great players, it's on their racket... the outcome really depends on how Halep plays, Kuznetsova is a fighter and she looks really hungry... she didn't play well against Kvitova in my opinion, Kvitova isn't very good on clay yet she should have won.

Simona [14] - Kvitova [19]
Aga [20] - Osaka - Kasatkina
Cetkovska - Bencic [2] - Gasparyan [1] - Cîrstea [1] - Sevastova [1] - Beck [2]
