she recently played in the National Champ in Japan,
i think she lost in the round of 16 and was youngest
among the 16 which includes Asagoe and Fujikawa......
but she wasnt really known before Osaka Cup

In the "Boiled Ova's" recap above are @ least 2 former regular doubles teams. Can anyone name them?

Hate to answer my own "trivia question", but it's an old thread and the teams weren't exactly Raymond/Stubbs. One is Brie Rippner and Melissa Middleton (in the WTA @ least), the other Matea Mezak and Jelena Jankovic. (There could be others). BTW, B4 she lost most of '02 to injury, Matea spanked Kirsten Flipkens, right? Do you think the Belgian gets added attention due to the phenomenon of Kimmy and Juju emerging from such a small country around the same time?

TBE, are you sure??
i'm confused now... cos i have the record of junior grand slam that Hingis won.... and they are 93 and 94 Rolland Garros and 94 Wimbledon.

Wow, this is very interesting! I never knew that Grzybowska won the Junior Australian Open! I knew that Aleksandra Olsza won wimbledon in 1994 but never thought other Polish players matched her feat.

thank you TBE for your hard work!

It's quite sad to see Su-Wei have so much talent, and right now she can't win anything. Hopefully she will come back stronger in 2005.
