hmm, decent draw for the Canadians, USA and Argentina will certainly be tough but it could have been worse I think. Hopefully they can at least give them a few good matches if Melanie and Diana are playing well.

Good draw for Slovakia, hope Lenka and Lubomira play better singles matches than they did in West Columbia last week.

But he loves you."

Where is the French team? I thought Tataiana Golovin was playing this event?

you have to qualify to make last 16

France failed to qualify in August prelims (top 6 European qualified)

She didn't play anyway then

Sixth seeded Hungary secured victory over Mexico after the singles but only after Group A Super Junior Japan title holder, Virag Nemeth, was pushed to three sets by Mexico’s Melissa Torres.

Ashley Harkleroad continued her unbeaten record in this competition by defeating Canada’s Melanie Marois 63 63. USA made an impressive start to defending their title with a 3-0 win over Canada.

Matches will resume on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. when seeded teams will face the other unseeded team in their round robin group. Seeded teams in the same group are scheduled to meet on Wednesday.

Vamos Argentina!<br />Too bad we had to face Uruguay. I feel bad when it happens in any sport, since I feel like if we are the same country.

Well done, girls, and now let's beat USA and Canada!

Best of luck to Uruguay, too, but i don't think they have many chances, it's a very difficult group.
