Just saw in an Indian news site -

#3 Szuszanna babos (HUN) d. #5 Sania Mirza (IND), 46 62 76(3)

Close but no cigar for Sania.

From our newspaper's website

Su-Wei def. Isha Lakhani 6-1 6-2

Chin-Wei def. Dubravka Cupac 2-6 6-1 7-6

Su-Wei and Chin-Wei advanced to doubles SF as well

The news also said Su-Wei and Isha are good friend.

Finally found an obscure newspaper (Malaya news) that was the only one to report the news among the Basketball-crazy philippines newspapers .. here is it is.

Sanaa lost to Tamaela. No idea about the score. Sad to see that all three Indian girls lost in the QFs - but all to higher ranked players. Great run by Sanaa who turned 14 only a couple of weeks back! -- no idea who she beat Szili and Beier Ko !

Australians Robert Smeets and Christopher Guccione downed separate rivals yesterday to reach the singles semifinals of the 13th Mitsubishi Lancer International Junior Tennis Championships at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
