Re: Aiko Nakamura Thread.

6-4 4-6 6-4

Great to see Aiko pull off 2 wins in a row of a WTA event.
Was worried she was gonna choke in the 3rd.

Re: Aiko Nakamura Thread.

AiK0 ....
It was a great chance to make her first quarter in a WTA event of the year !!
Why she lose her serve at 2/1 in the third set ?
I'm so so disappointed !!!

Hope she will make a good Eastbourne , she has points to defend ....
...G00d Luck AiK0

Re: Aiko Nakamura Thread.

Eastbourne :

Nakamura vs Dechy

They met them 2 times, 6/1 6/2 for Dechy
and 6/0 6/0 for Dechy

So it's a bad draw for Aiko

All the luck of the world for you, Aiko !!!!

Re: Aiko Nakamura Thread.

Aiko
I don't understand why she has so many problems playing Dechy .

I remember she did so well here last year. But on the positive side, she won 5 more games than last time against Dechy and also more games than she has ever done in a match against Dechy, so it shows she's in goodish form.

Re: Aiko Nakamura Thread.

Well, Aiko lost in 3 sets. Not so bad and she made some beautiful winners with her double handed shots. But quite a few errors also.

She impressed me today and played well.

Re: Aiko Nakamura Thread.

Aiko won a set
and the third set was more close than the score said ...
But I think she lose too many occasions
like a Break point at 2/0 to come back
But it's the first time she won a set against a very very good player
But with this loss, Aiko can leave the top 100

Hope she will play some good tennis on american hard court
But tomorrow she is in doubles, good luck Aiko !!

-sugi- did you see the match?
( I just saw the long match point ...)
