It sounds as though Akiko lost 2-6, 0-6 to Bartoli. This means that she either re-injured her wrist, injured herself somewhere else or this score (Like many others over the last few days from this tournament) is incorrect. I don't see how Akiko could lose to Bartoli, let alone 2 and 0.

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

Yeah, really!!!! Mabye her first big win was difficult for her to follow up on, though that seems like an iffy excuse...

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

what a tough loss again for Akiko...3-6, 6-1, 5-7...

She had a 4-1 and 5-3 lead in the third, but Brandi fought back.. Good match and good effort Akiko..strange scoreline tho

She really needs to get over this inability to win long close matches, especially with the lead. Akiko is a far superior talent to the 1-dimensional Brandi and should have won!!!!!!! COME ON AKIKO!!! WOOT!

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!
