Hao Ching is in the singles draw of Jakarta 10K. She played Taipei 125 as a WC, but lost in 3 sets. With the 2 weeks in Indonesia she should get a ranking in singles again.
It's WTA title #1 in Shenzen And they went up 4-0 in finals.
Reassuring the place of the youngest doubles specialist of Hao-Ching (previous one was her sister )
Hi I was at Latisha's match today and I just want to say that you Taiwanese fans support your players so well The seats were all empty at her match today and there was so much support for Latisha and Ti Chen and Yang. :yeah:

I was just wondering that seeing her play at the US Open mixed event with Emmrich. She tried in past years but has hardly done so recently. It's weird that your doubles ranking is so high yet you never really tried singles at such a young age.
She's got very good talent at the net, big coverage with her height and very quick hands/judgement for such new player on the professional level. But at current stage she just doesn't yet seem to have the ability to build the points on full court. When on the run, she also gets easily thrown off balance sometimes. Lost to younger Rodionova this year I remember in two easy sets... so, I don't think it's a bad choice you see what you're really good at and develop on it, not wasting much time and risk for injury. It's hard to say though. She's only 19.
