She pulled out of Wenshan 50k after entering with a 1 priority (possibly due to overwhelming pressure of a ranked 36 going into a low tier ITF tournament in China). Her Wenshan 50k points from last year will therefore be dropped and be replaced by Shenzhen.

Her next tournaments in singles will be:

- Madrid
- Roma
- Strasbourg
- Roland Garros

Ambitious schedule, Seems doubles oriented.. though Peng is playing Estoril.

Well Peng is in Brussels for the week before Roland Garros so Su-Wei is definitely not on doubles track for this series. It seems like they will only be partnering for major events + some smaller events in doubles.

Just need a win in Madrid and Roland Garros, Roma can be whatever...

I hope she draws Paszek or Cornet's section for Strasbourg... these two are definitely winnable As for the rest, I think as long as she doesn't see Kirilenko early rounds she has a good chance of making it deep if her injury is relieved by having the entire April off.

I think her schedule post RG will be all grass... not sure if she is going to vulture in Baku later

Re: Su-wei Hsieh New Start Cheering Thread

After withdrawing from Wenshan, ranking for next week:

Next best replacement
Next to drop off

I actually think its a good idea to drop Wenshan 50k because unless she wins the tournament, any result from this tournament will be immediately replaced by Madrid, so it's not worth the time and energy. Shenzhen will be a filler for now till Madrid cause it will be replaced by any result from Madrid due to mandatory status.

Think of it this way... she already used all her 5-pointers from 2012, so the rest of the season should be spectacular

Maybe a R16 show up in Roma, title in Strasbourg, R32 at Roland Garros, title in Birmingham... yeah I am just dreaming
