Thanks a lot, TBE.

Monica announced her official retirement on February 14, 2008. What a sad day! I'm proud to be a Selestial and I admire Monica for her fighting spirit and her character.
The tennis world has lost one of the greatest players of all time! Have a wonderful post-tennis life!

Arantxa, you will always be in my heart. Thanks for all the great matches you gave us and for just being a wonderful person on and off court.
All the best for your future!

Judio, think about the pronunciation of Justine's last name. The transcriber was the idiot - not the questioner.

thanks Eggy

how about this?

Q. I don't watch a lot of tennis. Why do you wear a watch out there? Are you paid to wear a watch, an endorsement?

JUSTINE HENIN: No.

Q. Why do you wear a watch, a wristwatch?

JUSTINE HENIN: Because I like to wear a watch. I feel good with a watch

Go Jennifer!!
Good Luck in 2003!!

"I just made the decision that it's now or never..Just, you gotta have this positive self-image of yourself and otherwise, you know, your not gonna survive this life, I mean, you're gonna go through living depressed and sad and not being able to look at yourself and always degrating yourself..You know the most important thing is, is that to love yourself, you know, walk around with your head high and not take anything from anybody!..There's no other way than to just try to be happy, to try to smile, 'cause you know it's just..your wasting time if you're not!"

JENNIFER CAPRIATI

I like that one :

Quote:
Q. Did it seem like nobody was ever going to hold serve there for a while?

JENNIFER CAPRIATI: It's tough, because we were both returning well. I think she was returning well, especially on my serves[...]

KIM CLIJSTERS: Of course, it's always nice in one way and a pity in another way. It would be nice if we could play each other in a semi or final, but the other way, I don't think I've played her that many times this year. Last year I played her a few more times. I think I played her in Sidney, Australia. It's nice we play an exhibition next week as well. We can prepare ourselves for that one.

Playing Anna and not Justine!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think whoever transcribed the interview misheard the pronunciation of Henin!
