Definitely. I hope she takes the MM tournaments more seriously from now on. With her ranking she can be seeded #1 at quite a lot of them. So i hope she wins a few this year.

It's a new art form showing people how little we care.

Does Sloane's forehand remind anyone else of Gisela Dulko's?

Re: Sloane Stephens

Its gonna be a tough sf match. She might be too fatigue from the serena match. And plus Vika has been consistant but not as good as last year imo. So i dunno we will see what happens. Im a fan of both so yea.

Re: Sloane Stephens

Lost first set 6-1...just tuned in

I am surprised that the SF is today. Isn't it just Thursday in Melbourne?

Sloane looks like she could have used an extra day off after such an emotional victory against her idol yesterday.

Re: Sloane Stephens

Come on!!!

Nice forehand winner to break Azarenka to go back on serve, trailing 2-1 (needs to hold serve)

Re: Sloane Stephens

I think Sloane's strategy is to get Azarenka to think she is going to keep hitting the ball right at her, then surprise her with an occasional forehand winner.

Let Azarenka think she is in control then surprise her...

Re: Sloane Stephens

I don't think it is working, but at least she's making Azarenka work hard for this match

Re: Sloane Stephens

OMG....Stephens breaks!!! (now trailing 5-4 back on serve)

I am going to call Sloane's strategy the "rope a dope" (like what Ali did in boxing)...

Azarenka wants to end this match so badly after hurting her ankle or something but Sloane seems to be having other plans

This is like dejavu from yesterday (what the heck is sloane doing to wear down her opponent)...
