A REAL Capriati cheering thread!!

Come on Jen, we all know you can do it. You just need to believe!!!! Let's come out firing and bring this trophy home!!

Go Jenny!!!! Keep fighting!!

"I mean, it's something that's always been a part of me. And especially the last few years of my life, I've really had to fight on and off the court. So I just, I don't know, on the tennis court I look at it as a battle I know maybe I'm in control of and where I have the best chance and I can really, you know, dictate what I do out there and what I feel. So, the rest, I think it's just something you just have or you don't have. I mean, I'm certainly not the only one. I mean, there's a lot of great fighters out there, so..."

Good luck Jenn!

She needs some match play. Hope she hasn't lost any confidence and takes a 2nd title for the year (hopefully on the way to 3, with 3rd tourney win in LA). Damn, I don't want to jinx her.

Go Jenn!!

Jen is in Linz - her ankle is fine, but she is still suffering the after effects of the bad cold that caused her withdrawal from Moscow and feels ill and weak. She will rest tomorrow and begin training on Saturday.

All this from the Linz website.

Mirjana Lucic : Australian Open doubles champ and back in Top 100

Jelena Jankovic : US Open finalist 2008 and World No. 1

Jennifer Capriati : 3 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Rafael Nadal : 10 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

I hope she just gives it all here and in the championships: It'll be great to see her in good form against a good player. The Championships will be great, I think Jen will focus there... she knows its the big one, but she'll definitely not allow herself another first round loss here...
