Maybe she bought it. Her junior results don't look overly promising. So that's all I can think of. I can't recall this happening in an Aus ITF before.

Can't fart around in Oz challengers forever as that will garner you a)zero improvement and b)zero respect.
Well said!

This is actually a good tounament, there are some good juniors playing. Also Ana Savic is in great form, she should reach the top200 after this tournaments

Jankovic | Goerges | Petkovic | Safarova | Hsieh | Tsurenko
Azarenka | Mitu | Voegele | Beck | Muguruza | Cibulkova
Koehler | Mladenovic | Garcia | Robson | Cepelova | Duval
Babos | Ormaechea | Jaksic | Gasparyan | Soylu
Allgurin | Kontaveit | Zacarias | Pigossi | Haddad Maia | Abduraimova
Konjuh | Bencic | Komardina | Haas | Jorovic | Galfi | Stollar

Where does Emily Webley-Smith get her money from? She travels so extensively, and has even come down to Australia quite a lot over the years. To my recollection she's never been top 200, and isn't exactly that young anymore, so I wonder how she funds it? Rich folks I assume?

Anyway, I expect Savic to win this if she plays her best. Jones is suspect due to the wrist injury, otherwise I'd pick her as the favourite. I'd be surprised if Olivia came through.

good luck Ana! she's been practicing in australia for three weeks now (in retrospect, very stupid decision not to sign up for AO qualies). hope she can go deep here. very strong for an Aussie $25K

ugh, why do they all suck????????

Just missed out on the qualy cut-off, I think, as it was made just before she won Ankara.

I'm excited to see what Savic is going to bring to the table this year. She's my pick to make some waves by the time the summer rolls around. Big game.

Grassonkova.

British tennis association has lots of money.

I love these juniors-sticking-around-for-the-following-pro-tournaments

Interesting to see what Kiick, Kontaveit, Routliffe, Zhao, Csoregi, Maciejewska and Tsuji will do here.
