Sorry, I had meant to say "Edinburgh" instead of "Bournemouth".

That's a $25K during the same week. I'm sure Elena Baltacha will play there.

Rika wrote on her BBS that she's withdrawn from here and will play Rome (Tier I) the week after instead.

Not happy with this decision. She should be concentrating on getting her rank into the Top 100 before she decides to compete with the best. I really think she could have achieved this by now with better scheduling.

I just happened to realise that LIU Jing Jing could have just made it in the qualies .

I hope the Chinese Tennis Federation is not leaving her , and letting her play only Chinese ITF .
