Slim chance for Peers to get in as ALT #15 (first Aussie in list). Ahead of her are a few doubles players who most surely are there already (Aoyama, Fujiwara...)

Re: Qualifying Entry List?

For Europeans now time is tight. Qualy starts in 2 days and you still have a +24 hours flight from the moment you step into the plane. You have to get ready, buy a last minute ticket (to Australia!!) meaning lots of $$$... Let alone jet-lag, change of weather conditions and definitely not the best preparation. I believe Asians and local girls will fill the gaps if players keep withdrawing.

Re: Qualifying Entry List?

Now Noppawan Lertcheewakarn (THA) can't play AOQ, she's In doubles in China and won R1.

But from China to Melbourne is that a about 10h flight?

How can you realistically get a flight that's 10 hours then play the same or next day lol.

Players do that more often than you may think. And this is not a random tournament. For the likes of Omae or Wongteanchai this might be a once in a lifetime experience to play in a Grand Slam.

Who are the top 5 Alts now spiceboy? This is interesting. I can't see many withdrawing now though.
