Galina Voskoboeva Cheering Thread.

It's about time this extremely tall Russina got her own thread.

She just got in to the 2nd round of Memphis by defeating Sofia Arvidsson 7-6(4) 6-7(4) 6-1.

Galina will be ranked inside the Top 140 now, and plays Lisa Raymond next.

Udachi Galina.

You're right. Udachi Galina! I wish you and Tatiana won your doubles match.

Tati and Galina are a cute doubles team.

They're not here for doubles.

Focus on what's important. Beating Lisa.

And beating the Queen of Tier III. That's Tatiana's job tomorrow morning.

Let's make predictions.

I say Nags Jr. wins 6-0 6-0, because she's very underrated.

Nobody is there. Maria's match made day 1 of the YEC last year look like a full house.

That's not really surprising, sadly.

But, these are the best kind of tournies to attend. I'm hoping Cincinnati is like this when I go.

That's true. As long as they let you move closer. You could hear every sound.

Voskoboeva continues her progress, did more than expected in Memphis. She'll play Lisa Raymond. Very good tourney.

Great tournament, Galya. There is no shame in losing to the top favourite of the tournament. One more such tournament, and she won't have to qualify for Roland Garros.

Hmmm, Evanescence. Your first post in this thread sounds like something I would write. I guess I'm subliminally rubbing off off you and GL.

Udachi Galina! I hope she keeps surprising us.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett
