Well, as long as it takes, even if it may be till AO. No point rushing back to sit out for a month or more again.

Well so far the press is saying she will be playing Dallas and then US Open.

Hopefully she will have recovered by then!

Also a downside is Kaia lost one of her sponsors now (Merko Ehituse AS)

They're sponsorship ended at the end of July and no news so far for a renewal. Will see what will happen there.

Good luck Kaia and Anett in 2014.
Also Wozniacki, Jankovic, Ivanovic, Stosur, Gajdosova and K-Kookie!!

Re: Kaia Kanepi Cheering Thread!!!

I was going to say that Estonian press bases their news on her web site, and then copying each other But thankfully there are some exceptions. This sponsor seems won't renew the contract, as they had said so already in a year advance

And yes, she's suppose to play Dallas, but Kaia said that it's still undecided. As even doctors don't know how long it will take to heal

I hope she gets the most out of form opponent for Round 1 then at US Open. Otherwise that slam will be concluded in R1

Good luck Kaia and Anett in 2014.

Same here. No idea how prepared she is

I hope she can play. Losing to Tanasugarn would be an embarrasment right now as she is not good right now. I understand that she is returning from an injury break, but I hope she atleast makes an effort and tries to win.

Good luck Kaia and Anett in 2014.

Re: Kaia Kanepi Cheering Thread!!!

Saw her hitting with Petkovic on Thursday. Kaia lost a lot of weight
That could be either a good thing or a bad thing though...

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

ANNA GERASIMOU-EIRINI GEORGATOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER

Really? Cool. Hopefully she learned something Petkovic is a good player, so hopefully they exchanged some info

In Kaia's case it should be a good thing. Not because she is fat or anything, but because of her legs. Less pressure. Plus her hitting strenght doesn't decrease by that.

EDIT - Oh and hellas, if possible take pics and watch her R1 match to get a better idea how she is doing after the injury.

Good luck Kaia and Anett in 2014.
