One problem she has is that both Muguruza and Belinda, who are behind her, have scored their points mostly at a few, mandatory events, so for them almost every result goes straight into their race ranking. Best solution for Angie would be a deep run in Beijing. :)

It feels like the times when Woz was able to succeed at these kind of tournaments were in a different century :D Usually, Angie should be the better player in the current forms of both players. But I agree, although she defeated Gavrilova easily in Stanford, she is still a dangerous player at times although she wasn't that impressive in the last tournaments.

welcome aboard :wavey:

the upper half is a nightmare for Angie, the epitome of a nemesis from this season...
Dasha will just be the entrance to hell
hope Angie is prevailing though...

Thank you too :D

I have to say I am excited, because its the final phase of the season and I really want to see her playing in Singapore. So she needs a few more wins in the next 3 weeks. And a SF or hopefully more in Tokyo would be a good start and could take some pressure off to need big results in China. Besides, I am always excited if Angie plays, no matter which tournament it is :hearts:
