Re: Angie in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Well done, Angelique !

Dann halt Morgen.

Re: Angie in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Would have preferred to see Angie beat Vika on court but she can't control that. Now time to get revenge from the Wimbledon loss and beat another Radwanska sister this week.

Re: Angie in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

What else has to happen for her to clinch a spot in Istanbul? There's only 9 women left for 8 spots, right? Is it even possible for Errani, Li, and Stosur to all pass her? Seems unlikely especially since Stosur is still almost 400 points behind Kerber even if Stosur wins Tokyo.

Yes, it's possible but for Li only if she wins the title in Beijing and won't take a WC in Moscow.

Re: Angie in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Morgen geht's dann wieder an's Schwestern vermöbeln.

Re: Angie in Asia (Tokyo/Beijing)

Pretty disastrous performance against Radwanska. Angie should rest 2 weeks after Beijing (if she doesn't loses to Zheng) and refocus for Istanbul (no Luxemburg).
