Name Resolution

This thread will be for resolving names in order to render our results section more consistently. Anyone is free to contribute

In individual posts (see post 4 for an example on Chris Evert) we can discuss name variations. Once a name variation is settled on I'll post it here and use it as a standard name across the results sections by year and in Grand Slam results.

Re: Name Resolution

Two examples:

Evert, Chris (???)

She was known as Chris for most of her career despite being called "Chrissie" early on in her career and going by Chrissie these days.

Jimbo's example:

Venturino, Johanne (???)

Rather than Jehanne (which I've been using) or Jeanne or Jacqueline. Jimbo prefers Johanne as this is the name provided by the ITF.

Any thoughts? Other names ? I'm sure once we get going there are tons of names we need to sort out.
