Next year Venus will really need Amelie's bonus points when Serena is 2000 pts ahead of her and Amelie will be pushing her out of the number 2 spot!!!!

Amelie leads 6-4, 5-2!!!!!

falsefriend, serena will not be able to defend all her points. she would have to beat herself since she beat #1 player 9 or 10 times. so she will lose points in 2003 automatically not to mention if she gets beaten.

Serena has ZERO POINTS to defend at OZ and at SYDNEY! She will open up quite a lead on Venus. Venus also has to DEFEND her points! GO SERENA!!!!!!!!!

If Venus is in the finals she will lose to Serena. Venus will pick up a few hundred points whereas Serena will gain about 1000. But Oz is not Venus's best surface so don't be surprised if Serena gets to the finals without Venus there. Either way Serena will open up a HUGE lead over VENUS! GO SERENA, AMELIE, CHANDA, JENNIFER and MARTINA (if you ever get your act together )

ok sorry but since there seem to be no matches I will go on talking about venus. hope nobdy minds.

tf, venus won the mixed doubles in melbourne and did you see venus the year she won the 1st set against lindsay 6-1. the problem with venus is that her serve and forehand break down as they did in that match. she lost to davenport 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 i think. she should have won that match but missed some fhs and serves. and in 2001 venus was too tired and out of shape to do anything against hingis and this year of course she was injured against seles.

hopefully in 2003 venus will not have any issues and her serve and fh will not break down. her technique gets shaky.

Venus needs to come to the net against serena a lot dont you think?

ok, i'll drop it bu i already typed this.
