Her unforced errors are incredible. It looks like she has given up. 5/2

Now, with the back to the wall, she starts fighting again.

Didn't see it since 34 in the second but of course disappointing result. Sorry David, but Mandy should win these tournaments where she's first seeded. She's still not in form, her backhand doesn't work well, often too short and no consistence.

As far as I watched it Yuliya played very solidly. She always had success when she attacks Mandy's backhand.

Mandy of course can play much better but her preparation for the hard courts wasn't that smart.

At least two wins in Woking!

So let's hope that she can use the time for acclimatizing to New York!

Go Mandy!!!

Re: Allez Mandy Minella!

It was a good match, Yuliya won the final 5 games.....I am pleased for Yuliya, and at least Mandy won a couple of matches.

The girls know each other's games after their time in China together....hopefully they will practice together in New York

As far as I was watching it was a good match at least from Yuliya. Mandy wasn't playing really well. I'm a bit worried because she has so often negative streaks within a match. She not only lost the 5 final games of the last set but also the last 5 games of the first set from 3/1 to 3/6 down. This is really disappointing, I'm really worried about and I just hope she's able to stay positive.

Since she lost the SF against kanepi in Biarritz things don't work anymore. This was the last time she communicates on facebook. Her schedule with Istanbul, Nanchang, Swiss league and now Woking didn't make a real sense for she changed times zones as well as surfaces like you was commenting some time before.

I hope she'll go now to the US to prepare for USO. It would be so important for her to get some points for the ranking after she couldn't play several months coz of her injury.

This damned injury destroyed her whole planning for this year and it's finally the reason why she has virtually to play every tournament now.

Later I will post at least the stats of their match until 4/2 second set.

Till 63 24* I noticed the following stats:

MM - YB
Winners 19-14
UE 22-19
FE 14-7

Yuliya finished 7/8 net approaches successfully.

After 2/4* second set I couldn't watch anymore but we can book lots of UEs on Mandy's account as I was reported.

All in all Yuliya had a better power control, she's got an aggressive margin of 9/4 against Mandy (this value was getting even better for sure in the third set) and this was deciding the match.

Mandy will play doubles in the USO with Camila Giorgi
