I think that the 2005 Orange Bowl 16s champion deserves her own thread. Oksana is from Tbilsi, Georgia and was born on Sept. 5, 1990 so she's 15 years old. Here are some pics of Oksana from the Orange Bowl. :)

Oksi is back with Olga S. in doubles this week at WTA Baku, they're the top seeds there and got a bye in R1. :)

Hope she & Olga will be able to take advantage of the really weak field out thre (weaker than in Istanbul last week) and get that title. :D Davay, girls! :armed::cheer:

She played 15K Lucknow in India in singles this week. :eek: Does this mean she's willing to try again in singles? Because if not, why play a 15K in India in December? :scratch: The timing is a bit weird, too. :unsure:

Sadly, she lost in R2. :sad: Beat (7)Natela Dzalamidze 4 & 1 in R1 :yeah: but fell to Ellen Allgurin 1 & 4 in R2 :( :hug:

Please keep trying, Oksana! :cheer::cheer::cheer:

She lost in qualies at 25K Pune. :hysteric: Was seed 5, beat Anrantxa Andrady 1 & 3 in Q1, but lost to (16)Rutuja Bhosale, 6-7(3 4-6 in Q2 :( :eek:

I don't think she'll be willing to come back in singles next year after these results. :sad:

I see you posted about her sister Maria. Wasn't she a tennis player too? :unsure:

Oksi and Nara lost in R1 to Barthel/Minella today, 3-6 5-7. :sad: :hug:

She's not even having that much success in dubs... She should find a regular and faithful partner she always plays with. :( Or play singles again. :mad:
