Oksana into the final!!!

36 64 64 win over Junior US Open Champ Coco Vandeweghe. This result will do wonders for her confidence and ranking. Way to go, Oksana.

I’d like to take Roddick’s serve, Gonzales’s forehand… As well as Federer’s backhand and mental. Then I’d be world number 1, easy! No one could beat me.

Re: Rising Georgian Giant, Oksana Kalashnikova!

Oksana won!!!

75 46 64 over Piedade. She had some really tough matches this week against Parra-Santonja, Vandeweghe, and Piedade and won them all. This result will boost her confidence which is something that a girl like Oksana desperately needs. Her first ITF singles title, if I am not mistaken.

Good luck next week in Mexico City! Get another one.

Re: Rising Georgian Giant, Oksana Kalashnikova!

Oksana got into $25K Mexico City as a Special Exempt but plays #3 seed Jorgelina Cravero in the opening round. Really bad draw but if she is playing confidently anything can happen. I imagine she is a bit tired however, she played seven matches in nine days last week. Good luck Oksana! Keep moving up the rankings.

Re: Rising Georgian Giant, Oksana Kalashnikova!

Cravero hasn't had the best of seasons, actually she was in a big slump in the beginning of the year, but now she's finding some form I guess.

Oksana looks to be a little stronger since the last pictures I saw of her.
