In double she will have to defend her canberra title (69pts)

Good luck Clo!

Yes a good start will be very important for her. She nas no pressure because she has no points to defend before the Australian Open.

I hope that she will have a good draw at the Australian Open and not a meeting with a Top player in the first two rounds.

It would be good if she will play double with Jelena Jankovic, because this is an excellent player and she can learn alot from her... and have good match practice.

2005 will be yours, Claudine!

Claudine Schaul will play against Marion Bartoli (FRA/41) at the Aussie Open, a very dangerous player who made the semifinals in Auckland recently!

But in secound round there will be a very tough opponent with World Number 5, the Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova!

Apart from that Claudine Schaul was injured last week and she has 110 points to defend from her third round of last year so she is under pressure!

Last year she doublebaggled Tatiana Perebiynis 6:0 6:0, edged out the 21th seed Elena Bovina with 6:4 6:3 before losing to Australian star Alicia Molik with 7:6(4) 1:6 2:6.

But this year she will certainly not pass the second round, but there is still hope if... the Strasbourg Claudine will be back

Claudine Schaul separated from her coach Norbert Palmier at the end of march. "I finished up a blind alley", she gave the reason to the separation.

Next tournaments will be Estoril (P) and Rabat (MAR).

Here is the link to the report:http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=160553

I hope she will find back to her former great performances and win some matches over higher ranked players.

Go on Claudine!

Tough Wimbledon draw for Claudine. Michaele Krajicek in the first round, and should she get past her Nadia Petrova (6).

Good luck Claudine, after all you just beat the 9 times champion

go claudine!

This can't last. This misery can't last. I must remember that and try to control myself. Nothing lasts really. Neither happiness nor despair. Not even life lasts very long. There'll come a time in the future when I shan't mind about this anymore, when I can look back and say quite peacefully and cheerfully how silly I was. No, no, I don't want that time to come ever. I want to remember every minute, always, always to the end of my days.

efter Krajiceks sad departure Claudine should have a much easier 1st round against lucky loser Severine Beltrame.

I really hate beltrame, she always manage to defeat the players I like the most.. our only hope is that she shouldn't be so consistant on grass...

Anyway : Go Claudine!!!!!

A sports psychologist has helped other athletes in her situation, it seems to be a cinfidence issue, I don't think her great talent has suddenly vanished.

On the 20th of august, Claudine will celebrate her 22nd birthday.

As a surprise we would like to give Claudine a card/booklet with texts from her fans.
We think she would appreciate the attention from her fans in this period where Claudine is searching for her best shape again.
The attention will be handed personally to Claudine on the US Open.

If you want to write something to Claudine for her birthday, please send your text to the following emailaddress: Administrator@claudineschaul.com

You can write in english, french or german.

Cheers,
the Claudineschaul.com team
