lack of streaming

very disappointing this year. i remember 2 years ago they had a simple webcam-type feed from one end of the main court for all matches, and that was fine! that's all we want.

Re: lack of streaming

yea...I agreaa with you. I was doing some research and came across this online tv website..called trueonlinetv.com...only 40 bucks to downlow software..but you get access to all the shows..sporting events..including wta tournaments..for free. I just a little skeptical with online programs..anyone have an insight on this online tv product? It does sound interesting. You can even watch all the matches on this tournament.

Re: lack of streaming

you can see center court matches here:

http://envivo.terra.com.mx/deportes/deportes/471-mx/

it is the matches in the surrounding courts that are not broacasted. I too am worry that these sites that promise live streaming of of matches on these outside courts is false. How can they broacast these matches if these courts have not tv cameras? I thinkg that these sites will tell you as soon as you pay and log in that they can transmit matches that would be otherwise available for free. I would not imagine that the WTA or the ATP would allow someone else to transmit their games without them being involved.

Talking Re: lack of streaming

Thank you Marlin..I didnt pay for any service..I agree with you..The wta and atp tour closely monitor who theyre doing business with. I just go directly to the website of the tournament and search for the live scoring or streaming. Most of the time..there are links for online viewers. Thank you again. I cant wait until Im able to paw. I have to wait two months..and have over 100 post..lol

Re: lack of streaming

Do you remember 2009, there was streaming every day of the Tournament! The last two years have been awful. The WTA should get more coverage of the Events!

Re: lack of streaming

does anyone have some video matches on monica puig. I know shes an up and coming player..This is her first full year on the WTA tour. Last she she was runner up for both French and I think Australian Junior Opens...Shes moving up the rankings nicely..
