Re: Julia's happy US Open Series 2013

Only the first 2 are confirmed, and I don't really have the nerve to look up if she even gets into all the tournaments, but she'll probably play everything she can.

Re: Julia's happy US Open Series 2013

hardcourt summer, bad memories, not much too defend at least till Asia, so can´t really get worse for now

ideal time to make a break, think about some things in ur life as a tennis player and come back with new motivation and new goals!!! or you do it like Malek

I hope she plays Cincy--it'll be my first pro tournament.

According to spiceboy, the #36 was the last direct entry into Cincy. That would be Julia.

Re: Julia's US Open Series 2013

She could have skipped New Heaven! It's useless playing there! I hope she doesn't play doubles in Stanford and Carlsbad!

Re: Julia's US Open Series 2013

New Haven is not confirmed, I just put it in the list because with Julia it's always a good guess that she'll play a tournament.

Re: Julia's US Open Series 2013

The New Haven entry list is out, and Julia's ranked too low to make the MD (if she tried to enter it).

Re: Julia's US Open Series 2013

With all the recent withdrawals from Stanford Julia just needs 2 or 3 more and she would actually be seeded.

With regards to New Haven, either she or Zakopalova tried to enter it and are now #2 ALT.

Rybarikova is the last direct entry (ranked 41st), Hsieh is the #3 ALT (ranked 44th), #1 ALT is Wozniak (PR #41) - so either 42 (Zakopalova) or 43 (Julia) entered it and currently is the #2 ALT.

Katja Holmes out.

Re: Julia's US Open Series 2013

Nobody knows. There hasn't been anything but cryptic and often contradictory statements since the French Open regarding her wrist. It's fine, it's sometimes fine and sometimes not, she has to learn to play with the pain etc.

All we know for sure is that she still had it taped at Wimbledon.

Those photos, of course, were taken after a hard day of training. Right?????

Of course, can't you see the tennis court (photo taken from a distance)?

The ocean is for the rigorous swimming portion of the all-inclusive training, and in a pinch a hefty paperback can be used for forearm curls!
