Re: Julia's Oceanic Swing 2013

They got 6000$ for this super final. It's 3000$ for 1 person.

For 2nd round in single she got 3100$.

For 3rd round there is 5500$

So it was better to win with Larsson and she would have almost the same, and a few days of rest yet

Re: Julia's Oceanic Swing 2013

Of course, Julia is playing doubles in Sydney

Goerges/Hantuchova v Petrova/Srebotnik
Cibulkova/Safarova v (4)Huber/Mirza
Chan/Rosolska v Panova/Voskoboeva
Kops-Jones/Spears v (2)Hlavackova/Hradecka

Re: Julia's Oceanic Swing 2013

Julia plays a risky and short-sightedly game with also playing doubles right now. It surely will not make her more healthy.
Early exits in Sydney and Melbourne would cost her a lot - money and points.

She will know what she is doing.

Yeah, I think we should do something if they should meet in the second round. Master Skoo will create something, I hope.

For instance how about a pic of her at the win in Stuttgart with an inserted text like "Hey guys - it`s cleenex time".

She quite obviously has no idea what she is doing, and a coach who at the very least doesn't tell her how stupid it is. She's ill and we're one week from the AO. Good thing there are only mixed doubles at the slams, otherwise she would probably play them too.

Not to offend her but she looks a little headless to me. Not just in her play on court but also in her scheduling.
It`s all or nothing all the time.

Re: Julia's Oceanic Swing 2013

In her scheduling, "nothing" would be a very welcome change from time to time. It's a confidence issue - do I go into a tournament planning to go far, or do I expect to lose early. If I expect to lose early, it of course makes sense to sign up for doubles and lots of tournaments. But as a #18 that has shown that she can beat anybody short of the big 3 she should go into singles with some confidence, especially when she has a pretty kind draw. Of all the players ranked ahead of her, only Errani, Vinci, Kirilenko and Petrova are playing doubles, and they are all genuine doubles specialists (and Kirilenko also a singles underachiever...)

I don't get it. It's supposed to be offensive against Woz?

She did? When? It appears that she can, but it's still hypothetical. And she probably has a better chance against Sharapova than against Kerber

Okay, I see it`s too complicated to be a good joke.
I meant it in the sense that Caro`s fans have to hold ready their tissues to dry the tears after the loss.
Julia would help them out for sure.
