Re: Women's Tennis in General

The red outfit is a no, no, the cut is all wrong and the skirt is too short and that is for everyone who wears it. And too many players wearing them on court at the same time, sometimes I can't tell who is who! Why can't they wear the clothes that they wear in practice? They look so more comfortable in them. Tennis is too stuffy with these uncomfortable and impracticable outfits.

It'd look good without those blue shorts underneath

Better than the Adidas, a big no
The Pharrell kit or the Stella McCartney?

There is a white version of the nike red dress but I have not seen anyone wearing it since wimbledon.

From what I have seen of the nike US open kit it is very grey which looks a bit severe or at least I am not used to seeing such a grey kit. Maybe it will grow on me. Is grey an in colour in fashion this season?

Re: Women's Tennis in General

Day one was great but so many matches I wanted to watch were on at the same time

Anyway I'm looking forward to day two :) Some very interesting encounters - Kerber v Osaka, Federer v Tiafoe, Svitolina v Siniakova, well too many to mention :D

Re: Women's Tennis in General

Anyway that were some tough battles out there today which is good, so pleased to see people willing to commit to a tough fight. :smile2:

What happened with Ostapenko today? Did she have health problems? Does she get so caught up in her own emotions that she loses sets and matches because of it? She seems to take some loses hard, she is still learning how to handle it I guess.
