Welcome to Dallas, USA! The week before the US Open, many players head to the inaugural staging of this tournament as an International event to prepare for the final major of the year in New York. This event was held as a challenger last year, with Americans Lindsay Lee-Waters and Megan Moulton-Levy taking the title. Lee-Waters decided not to return to the WTA version of the event this year, however Moulton-Levy is back, with Liga Dekmeijere, and this team is one of many that are sure to pose a strong threat. Many other teams will make strong vies towards the title though, with top seeds Johanna Larsson and Jasmin Wöhr looking very strong, although the fourth seeds, who are on the same side of the draw as Larsson and Wöhr, Irena-Camelia Begu and Ipek Senoglu, will also pose a serious threat to the title. Another dangerous team could be Alona Bondarenko and Kateryna Bondarenko. These Ukrainian sisters have missed much of 2011 due to injuries, however when their games are on, they can be extremely dangerous, as they showed by winning the Australian Open doubles title in 2008. With these teams and more in action, this event won't disappoint. Vote now for the Texas Tennis Open in Dallas!
